We are blessed to have many children in our congregation, and we value them as an integral part of our church.

We believe that young children are capable of knowing and talking about God. Thus we not only welcome the presence of children of all ages in our worship services, but we affirm their participation in worship.

During the Sunday school hour, teachers seek to create a warm, open environment in which children can experience the stories and lessons of the Bible in many ways. Teachers try to meet individual needs and learning styles by using a variety of materials and activities, and by providing choices for the children. Teachers welcome all questions and answer them to the best of their ability.

We are committed to maintaining a safe and caring community where we can all learn to see ourselves - and to treat everyone we meet - as people created in the image of God.
