We have been talking and thinking about our food choices in the light of global needs and resources, with consideration of our neighbors near and far away. This discussion and thought led us to purchase a local grass-fed side of beef to share from the Cates Family Farm in Spring Green, Wisconsin. We are enjoying our beef, as well as some pick-your-own strawberries, and hopefully more joint organic/local/regional food ventures in the future.
